2017 Entry Level Police Officer Recruitment Information Meeting
Approximately 50 prospective candidates attended the Champaign Police Departments 2017 Entry Level Police Officer Recruitment Information meeting on January 24, at the Champaign Public Library. Chief Anthony Cobb welcomed and thanked everyone that attended. A panel of Police Lieutenants, Sergeants, SWAT., experienced Police Officers and probationary police officers were present. The recruitment and information meeting focused on the police recruitment timeline and process, and the day in the life of a probationary police officer. Several people stayed afterward to chat with officers.
