On December 28, the Human Resources Department launched its redesigned Jobs page on the City’s website. The new page was designed to give candidates looking and applying for positions with the City a more intuitive and mobile-friendly user experience that meets ADA compliance standards. Visitors to the page can see details on current City job postings in a grid or list format and can utilize improved search, sort, and filter options to identify positions of interest to them. From the Menu in the upper left corner of the page, visitors can find links to additional information such as Job Descriptions, Salary and Benefits information, and details on the Application and Selection Process as well as links to the City’s Facebook and Twitter accounts. Visitors can complete and submit a Job Interest Card through the page to receive notifications when new City job opportunities are posted. Applicants can create an account to apply for a position or sign in using LinkedIn or Facebook. The new page can be viewed at www.champaignil.gov/jobs.
