Arrest Made in January 19 Bank Robbery

On January 19, 2017 at approximately 11:05 AM, Champaign Police responded to Busey Bank, located at 3002 W. Windsor Road, for a bank robbery.  The suspect, who was later identified as 30-year-old Jeremy Larson of Champaign had entered the bank, demanded money, and then fled the area on foot.

This morning, Champaign Police Detectives learned about Larson’s whereabouts and his desire to turn himself in; and at approximately 7:04 AM arrested Larson in the 1200 block of S. Mattis Ave, without incident.  Larson was interviewed and then transported to the Champaign County Jail where he is pending formal arraignment for Aggravated Robbery.
