In accordance with the Illinois TIF act, the City must hold a public meeting to give the public an opportunity to meet with City staff to discuss the proposed TIF districts and their impact. The public meeting will be held in the City Building Atrium on Thursday, September 8 with the Downtown Fringe TIF Meeting at 5 pm and the Bristol Park TIF meeting at 6 pm. Notices were sent to both property addresses and tax payers of record within each TIF. The Downtown Fringe and Bristol Park TIF’s will be brought before City Council for consideration later this fall. If you have any questions regarding the proposed TIF Districts, contact T.J.
