Starting Friday, July 29 (weather permitting), Open Road Paving Company will continue resurfacing work on Bloomington Road from Prospect Avenue to Bradley Avenue. This is the final layer of new asphalt which will be disruptive for vehicular travel through the project. Traffic is urged to avoid the work area and use alternate routes if possible.
Bloomington Road will be closed to through traffic from Hagan Street to Bradley Avenue when work is being done at the east end of the project. Side streets will be closed to expedite the work effort. Driveways and businesses adjacent to Bloomington Road will have access, except for a short period of time after the paving equipment passes by. Please ask one of the workers for assistance. All work is scheduled to be completed by August 15, 2016.
