Traffic Signal Outage at Randolph St. & University Ave.
The traffic cabinet at the intersection of Randolph St. and University Ave. was struck by a vehicle, causing the traffic lights to go out. Staff were able to install a temporary cabinet in order to provide power for a flashing red light in three directions. While staff work on a permanent repair, the traffic lights will continue to flash red. This work is expected to be completed by 9:00 a.m. Tuesday July 26.
The City appreciates the cooperation of travelers through the area and encourages the use of alternate routes when possible.
