Neighborhood Services Coordination staff hosted the Regional Neighborhood Network Conference (RNNC) Steering Committee for the second organizational planning meeting on June 9 and 10. Representatives from 14 of the RNNC member cities attended the meeting to discuss local plans for hosting the 2016 RNNC in Champaign-Urbana. The group received an update from representatives of the local planning committee regarding our programming, marketing, logistics and fundraising efforts for this year’s conference and decided that the registration period would begin on June 27. Also, the group received a progress report from Evansville, IN, regarding plans for the 2017 RNNC conference.
