Champaign Police responded to the 1600 Block of Hedge Road at approximately 5:42 PM this evening, after receiving numerous reports of shots fired. While at the scene, Police also received notification that a gunshot victim had arrived at a local hospital.
A significant number of shell casings have been retrieved at the scene and Police are currently canvassing the area for damage. Investigators are processing evidence and interviewing potential witnesses. No arrests have been made at this time.
