Mattis Avenue Project
The City of Champaign has awarded a contract to Stark Excavating to construct turn lanes on Mattis Avenue at Congressional Way. Construction began on June 22 and will be completed by the end of October 2015. Stark has started the earth excavation and base preparations for the pavement widening. The weather has not been cooperating with the construction operation. Traffic has been detoured around the work zone.
