LANE CLOSURES AT SPRINGFIELD AND MATTIS
Champaign – In order to repair and install fiber optic conduit and cable for AT&T, Custom Underground will be excavating in the intersection of Springfield Avenue and Mattis Avenue. In order to complete this work, the following lanes will be closed from Monday, July 6, 2015 to Monday, July 13, 2015:
– The left turn lane of Springfield Avenue east of Mattis Avenue (turning south) will be closed. No left turns will be allowed.
– The left turn lane of Mattis Avenue south of Springfield Avenue (turning west) will be closed. No left turns will be allowed.
– One southbound lane of Mattis Avenue will be closed north of Springfield Avenue. Southbound traffic will be reduced to one lane in the area. Both eastbound and westbound turn lanes will remain open.
– One eastbound lane of Springfield Avenue will be closed west of Mattis Avenue. Eastbound traffic will be reduced to one lane in the area.
Custom Underground and AT&T will work to safely and efficiently complete this work and reopen to traffic as quickly as possible.
