In order to install a sanitary force main for the Urbana Champaign Sanitary District, Stark Excavating will be closing lanes of Armory Avenue between First Street and Fourth Street. Lane closures began on Wednesday, June 3, 2015, and will continue through Friday, June 19, 2015. The installation is a moving operation and the lane closures will shift as work progresses. Side streets will be impacted by the closure, but will remain open to local traffic. Traffic control will be adjusted to accommodate traffic and property access on all impacted streets, including Second Street, Arbor Street, Third Street, and Euclid Street.
