Feutz Contractors have finished construction of the new sidewalk along Galen Drive between Broadmoor Drive and Theodore Drive as part of the sidewalk gap portion of the project. Several residents in the area have commented positively regarding the new sidewalk. As part of this project we were able to include new sidewalk at Fire Station 3 on the west side of Harris Avenue.
The alley reconstruction portion of the project is nearing completion as Feutz should finish work on the alleys bounded by John Street, Oak Street, Chalmers Street, and Locust Street early next week, weather permitting.
Work continues on the sidewalk repair and ramp replacement along State Street between Church Street and the Library. This work has been slowed due to several utility conflicts; however, the contractor is still on schedule.
