Narrative: Champaign Fire Department responded to 2805 Blair Dr. on January 29th, at 6:30p.m. Upon arrival, fire crews found smoke emitting from the overhead garage door on the north side of the structure. Fire crews advanced a single hand line through the front door of the house and found fire to be in the attached garage. Fire crews were able to quickly extinguish the fire. The residents were not home at the time of the fire. No injuries to fire personnel or citizens were reported. Champaign Police Department assisted with traffic control. Ameren gas and electric crews responded to shut off utilities. The Emergency Services Support Team responded to relocate displaced residents.
