Chase Bank Robbery

On July 25, 2014 at approximately 3:00 p.m., Champaign Police Officers were dispatched to Chase Bank, 201 W. University Ave, for a reported robbery.

Police received information that a man entered the bank and handed the teller a threatening note while demanding money. The suspect then left the bank with an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency and was last seen southbound on foot. No injuries were reported by bank employees.

White male
Approximately age 28; 6′; 185
“Dirty” blonde hair stuffed up inside the ballcap (Note:  This may be an attempt to hide longer hair and make it appear like he had shorter hair)

The suspect was wearing:
Blue and Red Baseball Cap with “Budweiser” on the front of the cap in white letters
Blue t-shirt
Black shorts
