This year’s slurry seal project is scheduled to begin May 5 (weather pending) and will be completed within 21 working days. The contractor for this year’s project is Microsurfacing Contractors LLC from Peoria, Illinois. The project concentrates work on the oil and chip type streets in the northern one-third of the City. This project will seal approximately 11.5 lane miles of City oil and chip type streets.
