WINDSOR ROAD I57 BRIDGE APPROACHES IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
PUBLIC INFORMATION OPEN HOUSE ANNOUNCEMENT
Champaign – The City of Champaign will hold a public information open house concerning the proposed street improvements planned for Windsor Road between Briar Hill Drive and Fields South Drive. The open house will feature construction plans and exhibits that illustrate the proposed improvements that include on-street bike lanes, new LED street lights, and sidewalks on both sides of Windsor Road.
Open House Time: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Open House Location: Champaign Fire Station No. 6 at 3911 W. Windsor Road
Windsor Road will be closed to all traffic beginning Monday, March 31, 2014, and is expected to reopen to traffic by August 15, 2014. The closure will occur between Briar Hill Drive and Fields South Drive. A marked detour route will direct traffic to utilize Staley Road, Kirby Avenue, Duncan Road, and Curtis Road. The contractor for the $2,557,636 million project is Stark Excavating.
