Champaign Township Highway Department is announcing that starting Monday, March 17, 2014, weather permitting, Kirby Avenue will be CLOSED to all traffic between Holmstrom Drive and Cobblefield Road. The road closure is necessary to remove and replace a section of failed pavement adjacent to the bridge over the Copper Slough drainage creek.
The Champaign Township Highway Department expects Kirby Avenue to be closed from Monday, March 17, 2014, through Friday, March 28, 2014. During the closure traffic will be directed to use Springfield Avenue or Windsor Road.
