On Friday, November 8, 2013, the City of Champaign will be closing a portion of the 400 block of East Columbia Avenue for an honorary street name dedication ceremony. Columbia Avenue will be closed to thru traffic at Fourth Street to just west of the first residential driveway on the south side of Columbia Avenue. The closure will begin on Friday, November 8 at 11 a.m. and is expected to be reopened by 1 p.m.
Access to properties east of the Columbia Avenue road closure will be maintained via entry at Fifth Street.
