In order to complete a repair to a University of Illinois gas pipeline, University of Illinois Facilities & Services will be closing Curtis Road between Staley Road and Rising Road. The closure will begin on Tuesday, October 22, 2013, and will reopen a week later, weather permitting, on Wednesday, October 30, 2013. Through traffic will not be allowed in the area; however, access to local properties will be maintained. The public is encouraged to obey all construction signs or plan alternative routes to avoid this work.
