The 21st Annual Safeworks Illinois Work Injury Conference was held on October 10 in Normal, IL. The focus of the conference was to bring all the stakeholders in the workers’ compensation system together to discuss issues and solutions. City of Champaign Risk Manager Larry Krause attended, and contributed as a panelist to discuss the impact of the 2011 Worker’s Compensation reform legislation. The conference also featured breakout sessions involving accident prevention, medical treatment and legal issues.
