The Library’s summer reading games kept more than 4,400 kids and teens reading from June to mid-August, reaching a remarkable total of more than 3.5 million minutes. That is the equivalent of 2,446 days or 6.7 years.
An additional 180 adults joined in reading a total of 1,125 books. Funding for prizes for children and teens was provided by the Champaign Public Library Friends.
