A 45-day Vacant Nuisance Residential Building Violation Notice was issued on July 2, 2013 for 407 W. Vine St. The property has been condemned since 2003 for a lack of a sewer connection. The owner contacted Property Maintenance Inspector Tim Spear on July 5, 2013 to ask if she could demolish the property. Inspector Spear directed the owner to Building Safety to discuss the demolition requirements. The owner was informed that demolition of the structure would bring the property into compliance. As of August 20, 2013 the structure has been demolished. The contractor stated that he would begin hauling away the rubbish materials on August 22, 2013. Once the site has been cleared and the demolition permit has been closed, the Code Compliance case will be closed.
