A Vacant Nuisance Residential Building Violation Notice was issued on July 2, 2013 for 214 E. Washington. The property was condemned to occupancy during a tenant requested inspection on September 27, 2012 due to electrical disrepair and had remained vacant since that time. Upon receiving the Violation Notice, the owner brought the structure into compliance by correcting thirty eight housing deficiencies including those that resulted in the condemnation. By bringing the property into compliance, the building will not need to be registered with the City as a Vacant Nuisance Residential Building.
