As part of the City’s efforts to remove declining ash trees, Michael Poor Tree Service will remove a 40” diameter ash tree at 711 West Green Street on Tuesday, June 4, 2013. Due to the size of the tree, it will be necessary to close Green Street between Pine Street and New Street. The closure will occur between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. This area will only be open to local and emergency traffic during this time.
Please pay close attention to construction signs and traffic control devices. Please proceed cautiously through construction zones and use alternate routes whenever possible. The contractor will attempt to complete the tree removal as soon as possible to minimize any inconvenience to the residents on Green Street.
