The developer HERE Champaign, LLC, has submitted an application for a Planned Development for two lots at the northwest corner of Green Street and Fourth Street (308-312 E. Green Street). The submitted application materials can be viewed at ci.champaign.il.us/308Green. In summary, the proposal is for a LEED Gold 27-story building containing 143 residential units and ground floor retail. Parking is proposed in an automated parking garage. Waivers are requested for additional floor area ratio and from design requirements related to the parking garage. The public hearing for the Planned Development will be held at the Plan Commission meeting on May 1, 2013, beginning at 4pm in City Council Chambers.
