In order to connect fire and domestic water services to 217 N. Neil Street (Hyatt Place), DUCE Construction will be closing BOTH southbound lanes of Neil Street between Church Street and Park Street. The closure will begin on Tuesday, April 9, 2013, and will reopen by Monday, April 15, 2013. Southbound Neil Street traffic will be directed both east and west at Church Street. All efforts will be made to complete the work and open to traffic as soon as possible.
We encourage you to use alternative routes if possible when visiting downtown Champaign during this construction. Parking is also available at the Hill Street Parking Deck located at 123 W. Hill Street, at the rate of $0.75 per hour.
