The University of Illinois and Law Enforcement Agencies Hold News Conference to Announce Strategies for “Unofficial” St. Patrick’s Day
The University of Illinois and the cities of Champaign and Urbana will hold a joint news conference to discuss strategies for mitigating the risks associated with the March 1st “Unofficial” St. Patrick’s Day event.
What: Historically, this event has resulted in a significant increase in calls for service for police departments and first responders. Several agencies have teamed up to address enforcement activities and safety concerns associated with this event.
