In order to repair a broken sanitary sewer service at 908 N. Hickory St., Stephens Excavating will be closing Hickory Street between Eureka Street and North Street from Thursday, February 14, 2013, to Wednesday, February 20, 2013. This repair requires an excavation into the middle of the street at the north end of Hickory in order to gain access to the City of Champaign sewer main.
The location of the work will not allow vehicular traffic to pass through the repair area; however, access to all properties will be maintained via Hickory at North Street.
