Champaign Police Make Arrest During Drug Investigation

On February 1, 2013, at approximately 7:57 PM, officers arrested Adam M. Mailloux, 20, of Champaign, for a delivery of a controlled substance. Champaign Police subsequently served a court ordered search warrant in the 1100 block of West Springfield at Mr. Mailloux’s residence. This search warrant was obtained as a result of an on-going investigation into the illegal sale of narcotics on the University of Illinois campus.

During the service of the warrant, officers located the following items of evidence inside the residence.

  • Over 250 grams of cannabis
  • Suspected LSD
  • Suspected Psilocybin mushrooms
  • Scales and assorted packaging materials
  • Assorted drug paraphernalia

Adam M. Mailloux was transported to the Champaign County jail and initially charged with the Manufacturing and / or Delivery of between 300 and 500 grams of cannabis and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
