John Ruffin, Neighborhood Coordinator, staff from Neighborhood Code Compliance and Neighborhood Programs, along with representatives from the Champaign Park District and Champaign Police Department held the first planning meeting for the 2013 National Night Out (NNO) event to be held on August 6, 2013 from 4–8 p.m. An initial letter will be sent out to registered neighborhood groups in early February alerting them to the availability of small grants to support neighborhood-based NNO celebrations.
