Bristol Park Relocation Plan

The Bristol Park Relocation plan is out for the required 30-day public comment period before Council considers the relocation plan for adoption in December 2012. The public comment period runs from Nov. 5, 2012 – Dec. 5, 2012 and was advertised in the November 5, 2012 News Gazette. A public hearing will be held during the November 20, 2012 City Council meeting. Neighborhood Services Department Director Kevin Jackson and Neighborhood Programs Manager Kerri Spear will present to the Housing Authority of Champaign County’s Board of Commissioners on November 8, 2012 during a special study session regarding the Bristol Park Neighborhood Plan and possible intergovernmental agreement.

This document is an amendment to the City of Champaign Five Year Consolidated Plan and can be found at https://champaignil.gov/departments/neighborhood-services/.  The changes to the draft document compared to the version City Council reviewed and supported during the May 8, 2012 study session include clarifying language for the local relocation benefits as well as improved references to the federal Uniform Relocation Act regulations.
