Champaign police have arrested a suspect, BRIAN J. FERRELL, in connection with a shooting that occurred at the Mobile Super Pantry, 1503 N. Neil Street, on October 14, 2012.
Champaign Police located BRIAN J. FERRELL while patrolling the area of Bradley Avenue and Chestnut Street. On October 20th at 3:52 PM, officers observed a male subject in a Dodge Charger entering the parking lot of the Family Dollar Store, located at 1204 N. Market Street. The male and vehicle matched the descriptions of the suspect and vehicle involved in the October 14th shooting at the Mobile Super Pantry. Officers then made contact with FERRELL and confirmed his identity.
FERRELL was arrested, without incident, for Attempted Murder, Unlawful Use of a Weapon by a Felon and Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm and was transported to the Champaign County Jail.
Those arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty
