Eden Project
According to McShane Construction, underground structural work is now complete. Vertical construction is beginning, starting with the eight-story tower at SE corner of Church and State. City sidewalk along Church St adjacent to this property will be closed for three to four weeks as the contractor expects the crane to swing over this area with steel beams and wall panels. Once the tower structure is completed, the crane will move to State Street, erecting the three additional stories to the existing building. This will require one lane of State St to close for three to four weeks.
311 E Green
According to McShane Construction, this project is on hold. They expect a spring 2013 construction start for a fall 2014 completion. The sidewalk that has been removed on Fourth Street will be restored in the next week. The site will remain fenced off after some adjustments are made.
Hyatt
According to Pepper Construction, the past week and a half have been spent removing all rubble from the site and cutting back to prepare for earth retention. Earth retention will begin Monday, September 24, 2012, and will last for two weeks. Basement excavation will begin immediately thereafter and will last for three weeks.
