On May 25, 2012 Letters of Interests (LOI’s) were mailed by the City of Champaign for the Windsor Road/Interstate 57 Bridge Approach Project. There were four companies selected for interviews: Foth, Clark Dietz, Engineering Resources Associates, and Sodemann and Associates. The interview panel included Roland White (Engineering), David Clark (Engineering) and Mishauno Woggon (Planning). Sodemann and Associates was selected as the most qualified consultant in terms of complete streets design and experience working with IDOT. Sodemann is a local firm. As per Council policy and standard practice, diversity of staff and use of minority sub-consultants was a primary factor in the selection process. Consultants are an essential part of our service delivery approach. We strive to select the most qualified firm that will provide the best customer service.
