IDOT’s contractor, O’Neil Brothers, is approximately 46% complete with the bridge rehabilitation work. O’Neil Brothers has completed patching the concrete deck and parapet walls. They are currently preparing to place the new concrete surface over the entire bridge deck. Once the bridge deck is placed and has cured, O’Neil will begin working on the approaches on each side of the bridge. O’Neil is on schedule to meet the contract completion date of August 3, 2012. The contract price for this project is $409,252.
