Sixteen area youth attended the Police Department Youth Police Academy during the week of June 25, 2012. The students engaged in obstacle courses, crime scene analysis and classroom instruction with School Resource Officers and volunteers. Graduates will receive certificates of completion and celebrate with a party on the last day of the academy.
