The City of Champaign will honor Catherine Hogue by dedicating a portion of East Park Street, from Second Street to Third Street, as Honorary Catherine Hogue Way. The honorary street signs will be unveiled on Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at 1 p.m. during a ceremony at the northeast corner of Park Street and Second Street in Champaign.
Catherine Hogue was a community activist and long-time member of the Champaign County Board. Ms. Hogue passed away on September 9, 2011.
