Champaign Police Detectives have identified two suspects in the shooting that occurred near Clock and Bellefontaine Streets on April 24, 2012.
After an extensive investigation, warrants were issued today for the arrest of Jamonte R. Hill and Marcquaz D. Hopkins.

Jamonte R. Hill
Height: 5’9”
Weight: 125 lbs
Age: 17
Charges: Attempt Murder/Intent to Kill/Injure
and Aggravated Battery with Firearm
Bond: $1,000,000
The shooting occurred on April 24, 2012, at approximately 7:45 p.m., near the intersection of Clock and Bellefontaine Streets. Witnesses report seeing the passenger of a dark-colored vehicle approach a 23 and 27 year-old male and fire multiple rounds at the two male victims.
Both were treated at Carle Hospital for gunshot injuries.
