Police Officers spent the day participating in the “Kids in the Kitchen” event; a program aimed at educating young children about physical activity and nutrition. The theme for the event was “Everyday Heroes” which provided youth an opportunity to learn about how being physically fit helps police officers do their jobs well. The event was held at the Wesley Foundation on March 29, 2012.
