On Monday, March 12, 2012 a public meeting will be held for Dr. Howard’s neighborhood to learn about the proposed Safe Routes to School Plan for the elementary school. The meeting begins at 6 p.m. with a short presentation by the Champaign County Regional Plan Commission (CCRPC) followed by time for questions and discussion. A postcard inviting nearby neighbors was mailed out February 23, 2012. Signs in the areas surrounding the school were posted to invite neighbors to attend.
