Employees Recognized at Champaign Police Awards Ceremony

Yesterday, the Champaign Police Dept. held its annual awards ceremony to honor a number of its employees who earned recognition over the past year.

Chief R.T. Finney recognized employees for various accomplishments ranging from great investigative work to diffusing a potentially deadly situation. Many of these employees have worked closely with the citizens in resolving neighborhood concerns, solved a string of strong-armed robberies, recovered $250,000 worth of stolen construction equipment and other great accomplishments requiring months of dedication and tenacity.
